Public schools are often berated, but at least they teach Communism well. Might the following, described in the Asheville Citizen-Times, be outreach to the community?
The Transylvania County Board of Education has voted to pursue the establishment of a community land trust with the goal of constructing affordable housing on a parcel of land owned by the school system. The board is seeking members for a committee to develop guidelines for this undertaking.
