What: The USDA’s National School Lunch Program provides funding for school lunches and its nutritional guidelines in a joint effort with first lady Michelle Obama to fight childhood obesity.
Why it’s an outrage: USDA research found that the 30 million children who eat these lunches are actually more likely to become overweight.
