According to a Canton, Ohio news report, a local school is having quite a pregnancy crisis. Of the 490 female students at Timken High School, 65 of them are pregnant. The report said:
The [Canton Repository newspaper] article reported that some would say that movies, TV, videogames, lazy parents and lax discipline may all be to blame.
School officials are not sure what has contributed to so many pregnancies, but in response to them, the school is launching a three-prong educational program to address pregnancy, prevention and parenting.
Here is my suggested curriculum for the Timken High School three-prong educational program:
1. Pregnancy: Sex caused all the pregnancies. Movies, TV, videogames, etc. cannot get you pregnant no matter how hard you try.
2. Prevention: Not having sex prevents pregnancy.
3. Parenting: If you get pregnant, you will become a parent.
