Diane Zambrano, whose daughter attends preschool at West Hoke Elementary School, came forward to Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze.com, reporting the same treatment another parent shared with Carolina Journal‘s Sara Burrows: School officials said her child’s lunch — “a cheese and salami sandwich on a wheat bun with apple juice” — did not meet USDA nutrition standards. “The lunch she got in the cafeteria? Chicken nuggets, a sweet potato, bread and milk.”
