Recapping last night’s Grammy awards, Locker Room’s Terry Stoops took note of Recording Academy President Neil Portnow’s call for a Secretary of the Arts cabinet position in the Obama administration. I also took note, asking aloud if Portnow was serious, knowing full well he was. In Portnow’s mind, such a position would surely be part of the economic stimulus.

I also noticed that the audience wasn’t exactly overjoyed when the Robert Plant-Alison Krauss collaboration “Raising Sand” won album of the year.
