I was looking at The Sylva Herald today, the weekly paper from my hometown. Our State Senator has an interesting way of stating the way to keep teachers in the classroom:
?We need to try to keep good teachers in the classroom beyond
retirement,? Snow said. ?We have a plan to try and retain the most
experienced older teachers.?
So is a teaching position in Public Schools going to be like a Supreme Court appointment, for LIFE? I just have to say Bless Senator Snow’s Heart!
