The law governing North Carolina’s “nonpublic” education has done a pretty good job freeing private and home schools from state interference.

That’s the assessment of Hal Young, past president of North Carolinians for Home Education. Young discussed the history of the laws linked to private and home schools during a presentation today to the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society.
