The Washington Examiner reports that U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan “invited” all department employees, via e-mail, to join him at last weekend’s civil rights gathering hosted by Rev. Al Sharpton. Duncan was a speaker. Responding to whether or not this was appropriate, the department spokeswoman said it was “a back-to-school event.”
I guess that means the Beck rally was a “back-to-school” event too.
