foreign policy Tuesday, and members of Congress spoke on behalf of the
respective presidential candidates. So, naturally, there was bound to

John Edwards? campaign sent Rep. Brad Miller,
D-N.C., who seemed to be frequently unaware of Edwards? stances on
issues. After refusing to comment on behalf of the campaign on several
topics, even eliciting derisive laughter from the crowd on a couple of
occasions, Miller finally said at one point, ?OK. Now this is actually
a topic I know how Edwards feels, so I will comment.?

All Miller had to do was express his own opinions — they are likely no different than Edwards’s.
