A day after announcing he would not run for governor, 11th District Rep. Heath Shuler said he would not seek re-election to Congress.
National Review Online writer Jim Geraghty suggested this might happen this morning, when he reviewed Shuler’s fundraising report for the last quarter and heard a lot of crickets.
