Just got an email from WBT breathlessly informing me that they’ll be covering Tiger Woods’ “press conference” live at 11am.
Why? What could that guy possibly say that any normal, well-adjusted person would want to hear? This is a PR stunt, nothing more. Participating in it is not journalism, it is enabling behavior. The same enabling that Woods got for years, that John Edwards received, that Michael Jackson rode to his grave.
No questions will be permitted. Only what Tiger says will be heard. And I guarantee we will have all heard it before.
Update: Fark made me LOL again — “Tiger Woods blames his indiscretions on his huge amount of fame and wealth. Poor guy.” Oh, and I see someone left the crayons out in reach of Rob Schofield again.
