Troublemaker broke the story, while Hoggard providesbrief analysis. But by and large the local blogosphere has been quiet about Beverly Hinson’s arrest. Odd.
In my last post on the subject, I made the comment that things really stink now. That statement makes the assumption that the alleged activities of both Beverly and James Hinson are related. No one knows that’s the case, as incredible as it is to believe that this is just a strange coincidence. A reasonable assumption, however, is that people with a proclivity toward underhanded activities gravitate toward each other. So no matter how you slice it, this doesn’t make James Hinson look good, as if he looked good in the first place.
You’ve also got to wonder how the N&R’s Lorraine Ahearn and Eric Townsend feel right now, after giving Beverly Hinson some sympathetic copy a couple of years ago, considering the fact that the cops would eventually have probable cause to watch her.
