As we muddle through the news doldrums, I had the privilege of helping a friend in the news business in a last-minute pinch-hitting capacity. Now, we all know poor planning on my part does not constitute an emergency on someone else’s; particularly on the parts of big and important public servants. It is therefore with gratitude and amazement that I would like to give a shout-out to the following for interrupting their time with family or the Bahamas:
