Don Surber finds something interesting in blog log files: Users on the left are whiter, older and more male than on the right. So much for that “angry white men” meme regarding the right. Here’s what he found out about the DailyKos‘s users:
But old white men make up 37% of the Kos audience, which is:
58% are 50 or older (vs. 35% here).
97% are white (vs. 83% here).
65% are male (vs. 55% here.)
Hot Air? 24% old white men.
So when it comes to angry old white men, liberal blogs — not conservative ones — may be attracting more of them.
