That is what Mecklenburg County board chairman Parks Helms is looking for to settle the mess created by the N.C. Supreme Court’s decision on provisional ballots. In a way I understand what Helms means, and in a way I have no idea what he means.
The decision is not, shall we say, specific, about what comes next, so if Helms is wishing for greater clarity, gotcha. But when Helms says he plans to exhaust “every appeal,” I not sure what he could appeal and to whom.
Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and count to ten. Then freak out and start calling lawyers.
