Edneyville is a “small area” and the “poorest area in the country.” That’s OK with planners, but they don’t want the area to remain the mobile home capital of the country. Limits to the number of mobile home parks therefore may be forthcoming.

In addition, planners didn’t want to create a Main Street. The high school is adequate for public gatherings. The planners did not care to explicitly regulate the amount of agriculture in the area. One reason was agritourism was becoming popular.
