Raleigh’s Planning Commission has denied Broughton High School’s request to pave a new parking lot at the school.
The WRAL story on the decision includes this line:
The Planning Commission had previously asked [the] school to consider other sites.
Broughton has a large campus, and this line probably refers to other sites on the campus. But my first reaction was: “If they build the lot at a site other than Broughton, why would anyone park there?”
