Guilford County Commissioner Linda Shaw responds to former economic development director Rob Bencini’s criticism of fellow Commissioner Steve Arnold’s small business incentive plan:
“It’s sour grapes….. We did away with that department and saved a lot of money by doing so,” Shaw said.
Ouch. Don’t get me wrong — I was happy to get Bencini’s insight on this controversial proposal. But I was surprised by the column’s slightly vindictive tone.
