The Washington Post has an interesting map out showing the most second largest religious tradition (behind Christianity, obviously) in each state. In 14 states, it’s Judaism. In North Carolina and 19 other states it’s Islam. In 13 states, including California, it’s Buddhism. In Arizona and Delaware, it’s Hinduism.
