The Raleigh restaurant South came up in our discussion of the closure of Table. Bang. It is gone too.
The owner seems to think South was too Southern for Raleigh. Dunno. Like I suggested from just looking at the menu, it seemed a couple starters and entrees too long. Hard to maintain quality across so many selections.
Either that or we cursed the joint by talking about it.
