In reading Troy’s daily journal
piece today, I couldn’t help but think that in the 1970s of NASCAR, Men
were Men and it was truly Stock Car Racing. If someone had a
dispute it could be settled with a fistfight, not a lawsuit, no lawyers
were needed (Sorry, Daren). With the move of NASCAR to the
Northern States and out West, I think it might be a conspiracy to turn
“Blue States” to “Red States” in presidential elections? Also,
when racing was RACIN’ it was the MAN with the best car who won,
nowadays the regulations have every driver driving the same car.
NASCAR is important to North Carolina, Heck I think those Scots-Irish
had something to do with this all alone!
