If you were hoping that Southwest would add some flights from Charlotte, you’ll be disappointed. The summer schedule is out, and it’s more of the same:
2 x Baltimore
2 x Chicago Midway
2 x Houston Hobby
The good news is that the second, summer seasonal Houston flight returns in 2015. The bad news is that even with that, the summer 2015 offerings are still a flight a day less than last summer, when the airline also offered a daily flight to Orlando.
CLT-Orlando does make a cameo appearance though, with the airline offering a Saturday-only nonstop for four weeks in March and early April (March 14, 21, 28, and April 4 to be exact). Not sure that I see the point, as the airline doesn’t otherwise offer particularly attractive offerings to Florida (backtracking connection in BWI or HOU.)
