Well, this certainly wouldn’t sit well here in the CLT, which remains the second largest market that the country’s largest discount carrier does not serve. And we’ll ask again what the specific issue is here in Charlotte that makes Southwest uninterested in serving the Queen City.

Analysis: Expect about eight flights a day on Southwest to both CHS and GSP. That both will get flights to Orlando and Baltimore is a given. Other possibilities would include Tampa, Nashville and Chicago-Midway.
