The Phelpsians of “God hates fags” fame are apparently coming to Duke.
I shouldn’t say it’s a stupid protest. It’s evil. I can’t think of anything more un-Christian than to tell anyone God hates you. God hates sin, and we all sin, but He loves each person so much that He seeks to save each one of us from sin.
My only hope is that God can somehow use this hateful protest in His name to create a real dialogue about His true character. I can’t see how, but I know God can do it.
