The battle between ousted Northern Guilford High School basketball coach Stan Kowalewski and Guilford County Schools attorney Jill Wilson raged on over the weekend after media outlets obtain documents showing Kowalewski used money from a nonprofit booster account for personal reasons, including a visit (for someone) to an OB/GYN. There’s now speculation over whether or not Wilson willl turn this evidence over to District Attorney Doug Henderson.
Kowalewski’s willingness to speak to the media could be interpreted as a sign backing his claim that he has nothing to hide. But also note we haven’t heard much from former Northern Principal Joe Yeager and former AD Derrell Force, who resigned under pressure, and former custodian Lewis Lawson, who was fired by the school board back in April. Kowalewski boasts that Wilson and Superintendent Mo Green are messing with the wrong people, but you can also easlily turn that statement around. Kowalewski could very well be messing with the wrong people, and anything he says or does will be used against him.
