After weeks of will-they-or-won’t-they speculation, the Senate
approved a state-run “education” lottery, with the tie-breaking vote
cast by Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue. John Hood provided reaction to
media outlets around the state, as well as perspective on the end
of the legislative session. His interviews included WPTF-AM, WNCU-FM,
WTKF-FM, WSJS’s “Mike Fenley Show”, the Associated Press and the Winston-Salem Journal.
On Thursday night, Hood discussed the session with the Republican
Women’s Club of Cary. Chad Adams joined “The Matt Mittan Show” on
WWNC-AM in Asheville with reaction to the lottery vote.
