Well, the line could taken to mean a variety of things like gerrymandering or public education but in this instance, it’s, well, kind of interesting:

A short paragraph inside North Carolina’s landmark renewable energy bill could mean millions for one obscure company The
provision requires major utilities to sell electricity produced from
poultry waste — a potential boon for Fibrowatt LLC, which spent
$85,000 this year lobbying the General Assembly about the company and
its product. The legislation, passed earlier this year, requires
major utilities to produce at least 12.5 percent of electricity by 2021
from renewable sources, including solar, wind and poultry excrement,
among others. The generic provision doesn’t mention Fibrowatt by
name. But the Newton, Penn., family business is the ONLY company in the
country
producing the power on a large scale.

Please thank your local supporter of SB3, such visionary leadership should be recognized!  This way your power bills go up AND you get power from crap!
