The local daily warns 12 Bones may be condemned. In other words, the paper wants some outcry. The demolition is part of the riverfront redevelopment plan. For those who don’t know, the plan is to take money from the federal deficit to design new roads and rearrange the buildings. The logic follows Martha Stewart’s famous line, “It’s the buildings that make the wealth.”

Well, everybody knows 12 Bones was visited twice by the current POTUS. Therefore, those seeking his cooties are more likely to find a residual molecule of air he breathed on the wall there than elsewhere in the city. You can surely get somebody in Asheville to tell you the building still has his energy.

And thus we see, it would not be a good idea to raze the building for a roundabout. Q.E.D.
