Now picking up faint rumblings that a big name cross-section of former Charlotte elected leaders might be soon be approached to help concoct a damage control plan for the city’s mushrooming Marcus Jackson problem. Although nothing is remotely definitive, to my ears this sounds like some sort of review commission or fact-finding panel.

Or it could simply be that the developments of the past few days have just now reached the ears of the local governing class, which is trying to digest matters without any actual plan of action. We’ll soon see.
