Meanwhile, Ed Crane at the Cato Institute believes an appeal to authority can stop the bill. So far, he’s gotten 300 economists to say the stimulus bill is unnecessary, and he wants to run a full-page ($128,000) ad in the Wall Street Journal saying so.
