The great MLK Blvd. question will be answered another day, as Charlotte city council has sent it off for study. Councilman James Mitchell says the change would only cost taxpayers $2,000 for new street signs, which sounds kinda low. Does that include the cost of the city work crews?

If Mitchell is correct, all the more reason to have some civic-minded someone step up and sponsor the change for a mere $2,000. Any takers?

Then we can move on to actual important city business.
