Wednesday night my wife and I had the distinct pleasure of watching a fireworks display put on by the Almighty over the Atlantic Ocean from our vantage point of a cottage on Holden Beach. I managed to catch at least one of the many (though hardly the most impressive) eruptions of light with my digital camera:
