A lawyer who helped exonerate three former Duke University lacrosse players falsely accused of rape has signed on to represent the school in a new case involving one of its athletes.
Charlotte attorney Jim Cooney will help defend Duke and men’s golf coach O.D. Vincent against former golf team member Andrew Giuliani’s breach-of-contract lawsuit.
