Two cats down in Hendersonville have formed a discussion group to talk about honoring and upholding the US Constitution (not to be confused with the USS Constitution). No, they are not trying to shape-shift its lines to redirect the unidirectional flow of money and power into their pockets.
No! They want to talk about liberation. For the PC out there reading this, we are not defining “liberation” as forced slavery for perceived permanent underclasses. The guys want people and those they elect to respect victimless expressions of individuality in a culture thriving on mutual respect. One key ingredient would be putting checks and balances on the flow of power to make sure too much doen’t end up in anybody’s pocket.

Their next meeting will be at 11:30 a.m., February 19, at the Bay Breeze. Unfortunately, if you’re like me, you are thinking this is too good to be true, and it must be an evil ploy to get all those who embrace the foundations of a free society into one room at the same time.
