Most interesting — and surprising — thing to come out of last night’s political theater was councilman at-large Ed Peacock somehow getting Warren Turner’s vote to override completely wrong. And then Tweeting his confusion to the whole wide world.
But it is official now — General Fund dollars, dollars that could be spent to fill potholes or hire cops — will instead by spent on hiring consultants to “study” a $500m. streetcar with no identified source of funding.
