This reads like something straight out of the Onion.
A rail confab at UNCC has spit out the notion that Charlotte might save 10% of the cost of building half-a billion worth of streetcars if it were to use a hydrogen-battery system rather than the traditional overhead electric current.
Hmmm, hydrogen. Where have I heard that one before?
