They’re incredibly accomplished and successful women. Yet, some remain convinced university life isn’t fair to women. Or as this story puts it, female professors at UNC-Chapel Hill “still face disproportionate challenges in upward mobility.” No one disagrees that men and women of equivalent experience, education and performance level should receive equivalent compensation. But when will women understand that no one — men included — can have it all, at least all at the same time. That’s not unfairness. It’s life. And life is about choices.
