The Wake County Schools reassignment proposal is beginning to anger parents, who question the twisted logic of the school system’s assignment decisions.
And with that anger parents are beginning to realize that there was never any promise of a quid pro quo in approving the $970 school construction bond. Leesville parent Lisa England said, “We gave them everything they wanted. We passed their bond and now they’re doing this to us.” You have to hand it to the Friends of Wake County for making parents believe that the school system really cared about them.
