The latest book from Cass Sunstein, the Obama administration?s designated regulatory czar, reveals his ?mistrust of human judgment,? according to Business Week. People ?know very few things, and what they know is wrong.? His solution?

Sunstein also believes wrongheaded views can be kept in check. Part of the answer is putting people with humility, curiosity, and openness in power.

All three of those traits are good. Here?s an additional thought: If we all know little, and much of what we ?know? is wrong, we also would benefit from a system limiting the amount of power any one of us can exercise over other people.
