The Newsweek ranking is out, and North Carolina had five schools in the top 100.

21 – The Early College at Guilford (Guilford County)
27 – Raleigh Charter (Wake County)
38 – Myers Park (Mecklenburg County)
72 – Enloe (Wake County)
82 – Grimsley (Guilford County)

The ranking is based on a formula that takes the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2007 divided by the number of graduating seniors.
