The N&R reports Greensboro Mayor Robbie Perkins’ ex-wife gave $100 to the campaign of fellow City Council member Nancy Vaughan, who is challenging Perkins for the mayor’s seat in the upcoming election.
Evidently Carole Perkins believes Vaughan has the better chance of winning, because anyone who follows Gboro politics knows that if she really wanted punch her ex-husband in the gut she would have given the money to George Hartzman, the third mayoral candidate running in next week’s primary.
