The NC Cooperative Extension is at it again. A couple years ago, this organization was asking the public for ideas about what it could do. A friend of mine scoffed that government had run out of things to do, and so needed make-work. Now, farmers can sign up to learn from government-knows-best how to grow and handle foods safely. They can even learn about posh acronyms like GAP and GHP.
My employer recently received grants from the state to have government-knows-best teach our production staff, some of whom have been on the job twenty or more years, how to do their job.
