Both the Falcons and the Saints go down to defeat today. The Vikings also lose — important as they’d own any wild card tie-breaker over the Panthers.
If Carolina is going to make a second half run, it’ll start with a dominating performance against the Bucs on Monday night. I want to be optimistic about that outcome, but the Panthers are going to have string a couple good outings together before I get too carried away.
Update: If former Panther DL Jovan Haye has a career game for the Bucs, I’ll poke my eyes out with spoons.
