Maybe it’s true that what goes around comes around. When Dan Rather was asked by JLF’s own Donna Martinez on WPTF this morning about the fake Texas Air National Guard documents story from 2004, Dan played the victim of a biased media. Ha! I can hardly write that without doubling over with laughter. From the N&O:
“At one point he said that he didn’t realize that I was going to hammer
him,” said Martinez, who works for the conservative John Locke
Foundation in Raleigh. She said he also accused her of having a
political agenda in raising the question about the 2004 story, which
ran two months before the presidential election.
All those years of watching pursed-mouth Dan jump all over conservatives were worth it to hear him squirm this morning (OK, I didn’t actually hear it, but I can imagine, can’t I?).
