The Winston-Salem Journal reports Forsyth GOP chairman Nathan Tabor was found not guilty of assault during a June protest in front of Rep. Mel Watt’s Greensboro office.

However, Governor Vance Spencer —-the man whom Tabor allegedly assaulted —- was convicted of simple assault and communicating threats.

The N&R runs the Journal’s story, although the nearly three-hour trial took place in Guilford Superior Court. I have to wonder why the N&R didn’t send a reporter down Market street to the courthouse.
