In stark contrast to the behavior of some corporations, a coalition of business leaders have come together to advocate family-friendly programming where their companies feel good about placing their advertisements.
The Family Friendly Programming Forum, which includes representatives from Pfizer, Coca-Cola, and Sears, are providing seed money and looking at scripts in an effort to develop and promote programs “that families can watch together.” Nice to see that business is starting to take responsibility in this way and not solely looking to the networks or government to effect some change.
