Food stamps will now be accepted at Hawyood’s Historic Farmer’s Market.
The program officially began on June 6, when customers could use WiseBucks, which allows the first 40 SNAP users to receive an additional $10 in WiseBucks for free when they swipe their SNAP card for at least $5. WiseBucks can be used just like cash for purchasing produce at the market.
