Question to E.J. Dionne:
How can tea parties be a “media created” phenomenon when the media a) ignored it for six months, b) tried to demonize it when it couldn’t ignore it any longer, and c) turned from demonization to condescension when it was evident it wasn’t made up of a bunch of hate-filled right-wingers?
The most out-of-touch people are the ones who are supposed to be explaining the world to us.
