Respondents to a Charlotte Business Journal online poll, say 61% to 26% that they do not want to pay more sales tax for the railroad. Enough is enough.  12 % say, maybe but only if the money goes for roads.

Perhaps legislators pushing House Bill 188, Congestion Relief should ask voters if they want their local sales taxes increased with all the money going, not for roads, but for light rail and buses, which is exactly what this bill does.  The bill passed the House and sits in the Senate Finance Committee.
