Jennifer Lanane, president of the Wake chapter of the N.C. Association of Educators, is mad at the four newly elected school board members. The News & Observer reports that, in a widely circulated email, Lanane wrote,
“They don’t care about children and it [is] now clear that they don’t care about teachers…WE HAVE [to] PLANT OUR FLAG IN THE SAND HERE AND NOW.”
I really don’t care about the message itself. It is typical NCAE fare.
I would only ask that the NCAE withhold the nastiness until the new school board members actually take office.
